Not like any other school, this is Audio Education Updated, Reimagined, and Revitalized. Are You Ready to Take Your Place?
We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro music producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).
Your Journey starts here. Amplify your Life and go to the next Level.

How it works
Your St Louis, Missouri MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE
We hit different and here is why:
Most of you know the daily routine of going to school. Wake up early, hustle to a dreary classroom, fight for the attention of the teacher, take classes you really don’t care about, and do it all again four more times during the week. And when you finally graduate, they want you to do it again for four more years?
The Recording Connection doesn’t think that makes a whole lot of sense, either. That’s why we offer one-on-one learning opportunities with a ST. LOUIS MUSIC PRODUCER that bases the curriculum on what YOU want to learn. On your schedule. In a real-world ST. LOUIS AUDIO RECORDING STUDIO.
You won’t be working on worn-out gear or outdated software, you’ll get hands-on experience with the same digital audio workstations used by professionals around the world. This isn’t a lab you attend once a week – you’ll be fully immersed in the music-making business during the first week.
Here’s the kicker: no prerequisites! Whether you’ve been messing around with music for years, were part of the school marching band, or just can’t imagine a day without music, our ST. LOUIS AUDIO ENGINEERING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION PROGRAM is for you. Bring drive, determination, and an unwavering belief in yourself and we’ll provide the foundation.
We will submit your music to labels or get you a job in a studio or as a creator.

CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME
10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future
Beer, Bluegrass, and the Blues. St. Louis is iconic for many things, not the least of which is its historic music roots. So finding a ST. LOUIS AUDIO ENGINEER SCHOOL in the birthplace of jazz should be easy enough. But how many of them will teach you in your home?
Although Covid-19 forced many educational institutions to shut down, the Recording Connection in St. Louis never missed a beat. For the past two decades, we’ve been perfecting our work-from-home curriculum. If you have a fast enough computer and access to reliable internet, you’ll receive a digital audio workstation and virtual one-on-one time with our mentors.
The convenience of learning remotely is just one more way we put our students first. When in-studio learning is available, our mentors will work around your schedule. After all, ST. LOUIS MUSIC PRODUCTION isn’t a 9-to-5 job. Our mentors are willing to work around your schedule, allowing you to keep your day job and deal with other day-to-day obligations.
