Audio and Music Production School in Cincinnati, Ohio

Not like any other school, this is Audio Education Updated, Reimagined, and Revitalized. Are You Ready to Take Your Place?

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro music producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Your Journey starts here. Amplify your Life and go to the next Level.

How it works

Your Cincinnati, Ohio MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE

We hit different and here is why:

We’ve all been in the classroom setting, right? Waking up way too early, taking classes you don’t really want, and trying to get your questions answered along with several other students. For traditional careers—like accounting—you need those hours in the classroom. The music business, however, is anything but traditional.

Recording Connection was created to give those interested in making a career in the music industry what we feel is a REAL educationin the audio engineering and music production field. How real? We place you inside a PROFESSIONAL RECORDING STUDIO, give you one-on-one learning with a PRO MUSIC PRODUCER, and the chance to work with real artists.

Our mentors are making the music you’re probably listening to today, working on the most up-to-date consoles, digital audio workstations, and other gear to remain on the cutting edge of the industry. You’ll be learning from the inside of the music business, not just reading about it.

Of course, we are an educational institution. So there are still assignments, tests, and exams. As far as we’re concerned, that’s where the similarities end. Instead of making you take classes you couldn’t care less about at 8 a.m., you’ll work with an Academic Facilitator to create your curriculum and your schedule

It gets better. Our programs are completed in six or nine months and our tuition is one-tenth what “name” four-year universities can charge. Why go into six-figures of debt if you don’t have to? Why turn your life upside down for the next four years?

Why not start gaining the experience you need today? In less than a year, you could be starting your professional career. After a year at a university, you’ll be a sophomore. What makes more sense? The decision is yours, but we happen to think it’s a pretty easy decision

We will submit your music to labels or get you a job in a studio or as a creator.

You don’t have to go into extreme debt to go to Music Production and Audio Engineering School

We can train you in a real recording studio for far less. Play it smart–get on the inside track, and get connected as you get educated. Our audio recording school is a highly effective and affordable way to start your audio engineering career.

Of course, we are an educational institution. So there are still assignments, tests, and exams. As far as we’re concerned, that’s where the similarities end. CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME

10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future

For more than 30 years, we’ve been making our Audio Engineer and Music Production Programs accessible to people throughout the United States. We have more than 250 locations, including Cincinnati. Even if you live in Avondale, The Banks, or Covington, you’re never too far away from a Recording Connection mentored externship location.

However, we understand that sometimes life can get in the way of even the shortest commutes. As the events of 2020 proved, even the shortest commutes can be cut short by self quarantines and personal distancing. But we have the infrastructure in place to make sure you’ll always have access to your mentor and to learning in a direct, one-on-one manner.

For decades we’ve been offering remote learning, allowing externs to “virtually” be in the studio no matter what life throws their way. Live 50 miles outside the city limits? Why waste a couple of hours of drive time when you could be getting the same education from your home? All you really need is a strong enough computer and reliable internet. Do we have a mentor in Los Angeles, New York, or Nashville whom you really want to learn from? We can make it happen thanks to today’s technology.

We’ve made the road to jump-starting your career that much shorter – literally. You don’t need to move across the country to work with an audio engineer or music producer you really admire. With our remote learning, we’ll bring them to you!>

If you've been looking for a way to drastically increase your skill and knowledge of audio engineering then RRFC should be at the top of your list. RRFC has transformed who i am as an engineer, and how i approach music as a whole.

Yes, we have over 4000 positive reviews. Our students value the impact our programs have on their future. You learn from the best.

Recording Connection does a GREAT job at placing you into REAL studios with REAL engineers and opens the door to allow you to create those connections with your mentor, and continual learning. You truly get out of the program what you put in. Another great aspect of the program are the virtual advisors that can help you with question regarding Pro Tools and other material as well. Much props to Alex Solis for helping me through the program!

After being a musician for a couple of years, I've decided to take my music skills to the next level. I was very fortunate to have landed in Recording Connection, they helped me out since day one with my registration, and any paperwork needed. I was placed at ES Audio Studios in Glendale, CA. My mentor at the studio, Donny B. is very knowledgeable. He helped me through the process since the beginning. He helped me pick a great laptop suitable for Engineers. I had no clue of the existence of any DAW's, and after a few months of spending time at the studio, asking questions, getting a hands on experience, and doing colabs with other students/engineers I now have the privilege to be a professional. A huge thank you, to all who helped answer my questions and helped me grow as a professional engineer.

I had a very good experience with Recording Connection and my mentor Donny Baker from ES Audio Recording Studios. He taught me the things that I need to know about being an engineer/producer and to always be prepared for the gig and to keep the gig as well. I learned a lot from my mentor, other students that are more experienced, my Academic Facilitator Jon, and other engineers that worked there. I thank everybody that has helped me through this journey and will use the advice that has been given to me to improve as an engineer.
