The Blended Education Model
The Recording Connection uses an innovative blended education model to get people trained inside of the industries and work environments in which they aspire to work. This revolutionary approach to learning gives students unparalleled access to resources that would otherwise be unavailable to them, such as industry professionals and top-of-the-line equipment in working studios. Instead of attending classes, students learn through real-world experience by working alongside their mentor on projects that can range from recording vocals to mixing and mastering songs.

Learning Different Skill Sets
In addition to recording, mixing, and mastering skill sets, Recording Connection students also learn hardware and software skills related to music production. This includes everything from using MIDI controllers to sequencing drum patterns to software instruments and more. Students also gain knowledge about live sound design as well as business skills such as marketing themselves as an audio engineer or producing music on a budget.

Recording Connection does a GREAT job at placing you into REAL studios with REAL engineers and opens the door to allow you to create those connections with your mentor, and continual learning. I was very fortunate to have landed in Recording Connection, they helped me out since day one with my registration, and any paperwork needed. I was placed at ES Audio Studios in Glendale, CA. My mentor at the studio, Donny B. is very knowledgeable. He helped me through the process since the beginning. He helped me pick a great laptop suitable for Engineers. I had no clue of the existence of any DAW's, and after a few months of spending time at the studio, asking questions, getting a hands on experience, and doing colabs with other students/engineers I now have the privilege to be a professional.
