Audio and Music Production School in Sacramento, California

Not like any other school, this is Audio Education Updated, Reimagined, and Revitalized. Are You Ready to Take Your Place?

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro music producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Your Journey starts here. Amplify your Life and go to the next Level.

How it works

Your Sacramento, California MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE

We hit different and here is why:

Chances are, there was something you didn’t like about being in the classroom. In high school, there may have been too many kids or they didn’t have classes you were really interested in. When looking at four-year universities, you needed to have prerequisites to take the classes you wanted, and 8 a.m. chemistry classes aren’t for everyone.

The Sacramento Recording Connection programs are designed to give you the classes you want, and the times you want, with the one-on-one mentoring you need to truly understand the business of making music. No more jockeying for attention from the instructor, running to the admissions office to get the only class you want, and no more putting the rest of your life on hold.

The Recording Connection offers students that want to learn AUDIO ENGINEERING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION IN SACRAMENTO the opportunity to be fully immersed in the music-making process. You’ll be placed alongside a PRO MUSIC PRODUCER that will give you the basics, let you work on the most advanced gear, and show you how to truly communicate with your clients.

Our mentors will build a curriculum around what you want to learn no matter what your background is. But you won’t be completely off the hook: learning about music theory, the physics of sound, and the biology of listening are all building blocks to making phat beats and killer loops.

Where we really separate ourselves from four-year universities and other institutes of higher learning is the amount of time and money it takes to complete our audio engineering and music production program. Our programs last from six to nine months and cost a fraction of those “name” schools. Let’s face it. In the music industry, who you know (and who knows you) matters almost as much as what you know. That’s why we feel working with a SACRAMENTO MUSIC PRODUCER in real-life situations is so much more beneficial than the piece of paper you get after four years at a college.

We will submit your music to labels or get you a job in a studio or as a creator.

CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME

10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future

The SACRAMENTO RECORDING CONNECTION is in place so you don’t have to move to San Francisco or Los Angeles or anywhere else to learn how to become a music producer. And although we aren’t the only SACRAMENTO AUDIO ENGINEERING SCHOOL to choose from, we think we offer something unique.

Being placed alongside a professional audio engineer or music producer in their Sacramento recording studio is as close to the action as a student can get. However, as the worldwide pandemic showed us, it isn’t always possible to be that close to the action. Fortunately, we’ve been perfecting remote learning for decades.

While other Sacramento audio engineering schools are scrambling to create new curriculums and systems to meet those needs, our infrastructure is already in place. That’s because we know what “real life” means. If you don’t have a car, public transportation isn’t available, or state guidelines keep you from getting to us, we come to you.

All you need is a computer fast enough to handle a digital audio workstation (DAW) and a reliable internet connection. Because the world still needs music—even during a pandemic.

If you've been looking for a way to drastically increase your skill and knowledge of audio engineering then RRFC should be at the top of your list. RRFC has transformed who i am as an engineer, and how i approach music as a whole.

Yes, we have over 4000 positive reviews. Our students value the impact our programs have on their future. You learn from the best.

Recording Connection does a GREAT job at placing you into REAL studios with REAL engineers and opens the door to allow you to create those connections with your mentor, and continual learning. You truly get out of the program what you put in. Another great aspect of the program are the virtual advisors that can help you with question regarding Pro Tools and other material as well. Much props to Alex Solis for helping me through the program!

After being a musician for a couple of years, I've decided to take my music skills to the next level. I was very fortunate to have landed in Recording Connection, they helped me out since day one with my registration, and any paperwork needed. I was placed at ES Audio Studios in Glendale, CA. My mentor at the studio, Donny B. is very knowledgeable. He helped me through the process since the beginning. He helped me pick a great laptop suitable for Engineers. I had no clue of the existence of any DAW's, and after a few months of spending time at the studio, asking questions, getting a hands on experience, and doing colabs with other students/engineers I now have the privilege to be a professional. A huge thank you, to all who helped answer my questions and helped me grow as a professional engineer.

I had a very good experience with Recording Connection and my mentor Donny Baker from ES Audio Recording Studios. He taught me the things that I need to know about being an engineer/producer and to always be prepared for the gig and to keep the gig as well. I learned a lot from my mentor, other students that are more experienced, my Academic Facilitator Jon, and other engineers that worked there. I thank everybody that has helped me through this journey and will use the advice that has been given to me to improve as an engineer.
