Audio and Music Production School in Salt Lake City, Utah

Not like any other school, this is Audio Education Updated, Reimagined, and Revitalized. Are You Ready to Take Your Place?

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro music producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Your Journey starts here. Amplify your Life and go to the next Level.

How it works

Your Salt Lake City, Utah MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE

We hit different and here is why:

Tell us if this sounds familiar when it comes to your educational experience. Getting up way too early to take classes that you don’t even want (but are “required” to take). Unable to get your questions answered because all of the other students had their hands up first. Getting a diploma, but still not having any real experience.

It sounded familiar to Recording Connection, so we decided to offer people like you an alternative way to get into audio engineering and music production. Instead of a classroom, we place you in a professional SALT LAKE CITY RECORDING STUDIO. Instead of sharing a teacher with multiple other students, you get one-on-one time SALT LAKE CITY MUSIC PRODUCER.

And when you’re done with a RECORDING CONNECTION AUDIO ENGINEERING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION PROGRAM, you’ll have built your brand, added to your portfolio, and probably even filled your phone with contacts. Plus you’ll have experience working with the latest gear in a real-world setting.

We don’t stop there. Our programs last six to nine months and cost a tenth of what the tuition and books cost at many four-year universities. And we’re located in Salt Lake City to boot! Why move hundreds of miles away, spend four years taking classes you don’t want, and take on six figures of college loan debt?

We will submit your music to labels or get you a job in a studio or as a creator.

CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME

10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future

With more than 250 locations throughout the U.S. (including Salt Lake City), you can enroll in our Audio Engineering and Music Production Programs almost anywhere in the country. But what happens when you’re just out of range for daily trips to the studio? And, as 2020 showed us, circumstances beyond your control are hard to plan for.

No problem! While other educational institutions were spending months trying to figure out how to reach their students, Recording Connection already had years of experience with remote learning. We developed these “virtual studios” to give access to anyone who wanted to learn no matter where they lived.

Interested in learning from one of our mentors in particular, but they’re located in Chicago, Seattle, or Miami? We can make it happen—if they’re available of course. We just want to make sure you understand something: If you want to enroll with Recording Connection, and you have the right kind of work ethic, we’ll make sure it happens no matter where you live.

If you've been looking for a way to drastically increase your skill and knowledge of audio engineering then RRFC should be at the top of your list. RRFC has transformed who i am as an engineer, and how i approach music as a whole.

Yes, we have over 4000 positive reviews. Our students value the impact our programs have on their future. You learn from the best.

Recording Connection does a GREAT job at placing you into REAL studios with REAL engineers and opens the door to allow you to create those connections with your mentor, and continual learning. You truly get out of the program what you put in. Another great aspect of the program are the virtual advisors that can help you with question regarding Pro Tools and other material as well. Much props to Alex Solis for helping me through the program!

After being a musician for a couple of years, I've decided to take my music skills to the next level. I was very fortunate to have landed in Recording Connection, they helped me out since day one with my registration, and any paperwork needed. I was placed at ES Audio Studios in Glendale, CA. My mentor at the studio, Donny B. is very knowledgeable. He helped me through the process since the beginning. He helped me pick a great laptop suitable for Engineers. I had no clue of the existence of any DAW's, and after a few months of spending time at the studio, asking questions, getting a hands on experience, and doing colabs with other students/engineers I now have the privilege to be a professional. A huge thank you, to all who helped answer my questions and helped me grow as a professional engineer.

I had a very good experience with Recording Connection and my mentor Donny Baker from ES Audio Recording Studios. He taught me the things that I need to know about being an engineer/producer and to always be prepared for the gig and to keep the gig as well. I learned a lot from my mentor, other students that are more experienced, my Academic Facilitator Jon, and other engineers that worked there. I thank everybody that has helped me through this journey and will use the advice that has been given to me to improve as an engineer.
