The Recording Connection externship program offers students total immersion into the world of audio engineering and music production. You will learn directly from experienced industry professionals through one-on-one mentorship, ensuring that you receive personalized instruction tailored to your individual needs and goals. Unlike a traditional classroom setting, our mentors provide hands-on training that simulates a real recording studio environment — giving you an inside look at what it takes to make it as an audio engineer or music producer.
We will submit your music to labels or get you a job in a studio or as a creator.

Our externships are designed to give you the best possible chance at success. Not only do we provide personalized mentorship and hands-on training, but we also offer job placement assistance upon completion. This means that once you have completed our program, we will work with you for one year on job placement, connecting you with potential employers so that you can start building your career right away. We know how hard it can be to break into this competitive field without any experience, which is why we have taken every step to ensure that our students are well-prepared for their first jobs out of school.
