Go West Young Man! RC grad Josh Tehan goes West
Recent Recording Connection graduate Josh Tehan got plenty of hands-on experience during his apprenticeship with Da Spot Studio in Richmond, VA. Speaking of his apprenticeship, Tehan says:
The studio itself was a very creative environment, good sound, great equipment easy to manage. [The mentors] really want to make sure the students know everything they were taught for their success in the business.”
While at Da Spot, Tehan had the opportunity to assist producing a track for a local band. And because he’s also a virtuoso of sorts and plays the guitar, piano, ukulele and bass, Tehan also got to sit in as a session player! Well the newbie grad hasn’t stopped ever since. He’s taking a leap and going west to Bismarck, North Dakota in order to continue working on his music career at a hot, new underground indie studio Club Records!
Where will this road lead? Somewhere good and chances are, Josh has got some collaborating in his near future since he views himself as a puzzle builder who thrives in a team environment.
Sounds pretty sweet to us!
