Film Connection apprentice and grad Team Up on Feature Film!

Austin Brown, a Film Connection apprentice at Radiant3 Productions in Atlanta, GA, recently got the chance to work as 2nd AC on the horror-thriller feature called Talbot County with Film Connection graduate and studio owner Steven Pitts!

The film was shot on state-of-the-art RED Epic cameras and produced by Rite Media Group (Atlanta). The crew of 30 shot on location on a thousand acre plantation in Upatoi, Georgia, where they also camped-out for much of the shoot.

Austin is glad he jumped in and seized the opportunity to join the crew and build his experience. While he’s getting in on the action of filmmaking he’s also thinking up screenplays of his own. Of this Austin says, “I’m taking the idea I had for a book and turning it into a horror-romance. It’s kind of what I’d refer to as a tragic-romance.”
