The Recording Connection has taught me a few things. One, I didn’t know jack about audio before I attended. (No pun intended). Two, workers in the entertainment business are some of the most hospitable people I’ve ever met and finally, three, If you apply yourself and take every opportunity that comes at you, you will be richly rewarded.

On June 15th, I had the unique opportunity to attend “The Package Tour” as a VIP. Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees & New Kids on the Block came to the Wells Fargo Center and rocked the house for thousands of screaming women and I got to tour backstage, meet the musicians, stand onstage, watch the whole show from behind the soundboard and have Danny Wood from NKOTB sing directly in front of my face, quite a unique experience, indeed.

None of this would have been possible without The Recording Connection and Joey Heier, my mentor, owner & operator of Crystal Clear Studios, author of the Recording Connection curriculum and my friend. Shout out to Uncle J for letting me borrow some of his vast amounts of knowledge and being a class act about it. You rock man.”
