Recording Connection Audio School Alternative Now Accepting Students Throughout Canada
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA. April 3, 2012. The Recording Connection announces the launch of its audio engineering school alternative for students in Canada today. The Recording Connection audio school alternative places students inside real working recording studios where they serve a six-month externship while taking a structured course curriculum under the guidance of a professional audio engineer, music producer or studio owner who serves as their mentor. All training is done via a one-on-one basis: one student, one mentor.
Brian Kraft, Consultant put it this way, “Our decision to expand to Canada has been a long time coming. For years, we’ve received requests from prospective students who wanted to take our recording engineer course in Canada. Finally, we are able to offer our educational and training expertise to the next generation of Canadian audio engineers and music producers.”
Besides receiving training in audio and sound engineering, Recording Connection students gain valuable on-the-job experience as they sit in on their mentor’s projects. Additionally, students are exposed to bands, band managers, music producers and clients on a weekly basis and can thus build up their industry connections while taking the Recording Connection course. The main thrust of the Recording Connection’s audio engineering program is to provide its graduates with the tools, experience, knowledge and connections they need to acquire gainful employment once they have finished the course. To this end, Recording Connection offers all graduates placement in their Stay Connected program which offers ongoing job placement assistance.
The Recording Connection audio program for audio engineers and music producers is available in almost every city or town in Canada. The company also maintains offices in Vancouver and Toronto. Interested students may apply at https://www.recordingconnection.ca
