RECORDING CONNECTION AND MEL GIBSON MAKE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO MENDING KIDS INTERNATIONAL

The Recording Radio and Film Connection, in our ongoing effort to improve the communities that our programs are involved in, is proud to announce a partnership with famed Actor, Producer, and Director Mel Gibson to donate charitable aid to Mending Kids International.

Mel Gibson is arguably one of the biggest movie stars on the surface of the planet. With iconic appearances in such films as The Patriot, Braveheart, Lethal Weapon, and Signs Mel Gibson is nothing less than globally recognizable. Gibson is also an acclaimed director, having produced and directed Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ and Apocalypto.

Mending Kids International is a charitable organization that provides much needed or lifesaving surgical options for very young children. Many of the surgeries that Mending Kids International performs are to correct congenital heart defects, severe scoliosis, orthopedic abnormalities, or significant cranial deformities.

Mending Kids International relies on a network of donors to assist in the ongoing struggle to assist young people. Thousands of individuals, from every country, have received treatments from Mending Kids International. The expressed goal of MKI is to enable longer, more productive, healthier, and happier lives for individuals from all walks of life.
