INTRODUCTION TO LOGIC PRO X: A POWERFUL TOOL FOR TRACK PRODUCTION

Logic Pro is a really, really powerful tool for production, especially in this latest release. They’ve really, really done some amazing things. And they’ve actually input some of the features from other DAWs that are really, really popular. Logic Pro is dear to my heart because it’s one of the first things I ever learned. It is my go-to production tool.

If I’m producing a track, if I’m composing for a score maybe, for a movie, I always do most of my production in Logic. I don’t like it for mixing. It’s not my favorite mixing application, but that’s not because a lot of people say that it sounds different–I don’t really notice it that much, to be honest with you. I just like the comfort of mixing in Pro Tools. So I’ve created a work flow that allows me to utilize both. But as far as production goes, Logic is my instrument of choice. It is a powerful creation tool, really powerful.
