Careers in Christian Music Start Here

Recording artists and bands such as Brandon Heath, Chris Tomlin, The Afters, Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Amy Grant, LaRueAshmont Hill, Rita Springer, Marcus Cole, Phil Keaggy and others have increased the strength and reach of Christian music.

If you’re a Christian musician, or in a Christian band (whether it be Rock, Pop, New-Age, Metal, or Gospel), your message will be better served if you know the ins and outs of a real Christian recording studio.  The Recording Connection teaches you the smart way, the fast way, the right way: by placing you in a real recording studio, where you receive one-on-one tutoring from a professional recording engineer or music producer who is connected with major players in the Christian music genre. Best of all, you won’t have to relocate, because we have thousands of active Recording Connection mentors in recording studios all over the planet. Your mentor will teach you everything you need to know about proper recording and mix-down techniques.  Along the way, you will learn Pro Tools and Reason, get acquainted with MIDI devices, and even receive your own copy of Pro Tools to keep, at no additional charge.

Learn how the music business REALLY works, from someone who actually knows. Everything you need is included in one low tuition cost. Visit our complete curriculum page to see everything you will be studying.

Since we began offering our Recording Connection program in 1983, we’ve been continually refining our curriculum to reflect both the current tastes in music and the rapid and frequent changes in technology.  Our program works because it puts you in real world situations, in a real recording studio, giving you hands-on experience with all the technology currently available.  Best of all, you will be trained by an experienced, working professional in the music recording business who really knows the business. Simply by going to the studio, you’ll make lots of connections with other music professionals who are in the studio working on their own projects. In this way, not only will you gain hands-on experience and practical working knowledge while you take our course, but you’ll also put yourself in a prime position to start a career in music upon graduation.

Please note: we do our best to match you with the studios where you will be the most comfortable. Don’t hesitate to talk to one of our Admissions Counselors, who can help you to work with your own music as you take our structured course curriculum in a real recording studio.
