Learn Music Producing In The Studio Where Soundgarden Records Their Music

The RECORDING CONNECTION mentors have years of experience producing and engineering recording projects for some of the world’s top rock bands and artists–among them grunge band Soundgarden.

When you enroll in our recording school, we pair you with one of these trusted, experienced, world-class professionals for personal one-on-one mentoring.  Imagine learning the skills of music production and audio engineering inside a recording studio where Soundgarden and similar bands have recorded. With our revolutionary mentor-extern program, it’s not a fantasy–it’s reality.

Soundgarden rose to national fame during the birth of Seattle’s grunge rock movement in the early 1990s, becoming the first grunge band to sign with a major label. With the gravelly vocals of frontman Chris Cornell and the guitar work of Kim Thayil, Soundgarden leaned toward the metal side of grunge, carving out a niche sound for themselves that garnered them two Grammy Awards and the sale of over 21 million records across the globe. After disbanding in 1997, Soundgarden reunited in 2010, and has plans to release new material in 2011.

Understandably, rock bands like Soundgarden don’t record in just any studio, or work with just any engineer or producer. Yet Soundgarden has indeed recorded in some of the very same studios where our student externs are learning now, including studios in their home town of Seattle, Washington.

If our RECORDING CONNECTION mentors are trusted by the likes of Soundgarden and similar bands, just think what you could learn by externing with one of these professionals, perhaps learning in the very recording room where Chris Cornell belted his vocals or Kim Thayil recorded his best guitar riffs. THIS ISN’T SOME PIE IN THE SKY PROMISE, this is reality.

We are by no means offering a shortcut to success. The fact is, if you really want to break into the industry as a recording engineer, producer or artist, you’re going to HAVE to know the inner workings of a recording studio–and you can’t learn that in a sterile classroom. The REAL education happens by working on real recording projects, and that’s why we give you the opportunity to be personally trained by people who actually know what they are doing and have the experience to back it up.

When you enroll and are accepted into our recording school, you learn directly from the pros who have recorded the music that you know and love, the music that inspired you to become an audio engineer, music producer or artist. Our recording school alternative gives you the opportunity to learn from people who have worked with the greats–including bands like Soundgarden–so one day you can do the same thing.

The Recording Connection is the only school that hooks you up in a real recording studio, where you learn all you need to know about audio engineering from a real life working professional.

We will not sell you on a bunch of nonsense, and we make no empty promises. There is  simply no better place to learn recording than in a real recording studio. RECORDING CONNECTION is the school that puts you there.
