RECORDING CONNECTION JOINS 18TH ANNUAL AUDIOMASTERS BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT TO SUPPORT NASHVILLE ENGINEER RELIEF FUND

Recording Connection was honored to sponsor a very worthy and important cause, the 18th Annual AudioMasters Benefit Golf Tournament in Nashville, TN. Taking place on May 14-15 at the beautiful Harpeth Hills Golf Course, funds raised go towards supporting the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund (NERF), a non-profit corporation that provides assistance for individuals in the Nashville audio engineering community who, through illness or tragic circumstances, are unable to practice their profession or face other serious problems. The first AudioMasters Benefit Golf Tournament to support NERF began in May of 1998 and has since become a tradition within the Nashville audio engineering community.

Held as a production of the Nashville Section of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), The Recording Connection was happy to sponsor Hole 8 on the links. Grammy-winning producers, audio engineers and key professionals in the music industry had a great time getting a massage and unwinding at the Recording Connection tent. Joining Brian Kraft, Consultant, were several volunteers and Recording Connection extern and Nashville native, Jonathan Dickerson, who had the opportunity to shake hands and connect with many of Nashville’s most in-demand audio professionals on this fun-filled day which included breakfast, an open driving range, and an awards reception after the golf. “Doctors” seven-time-Grammy-winner Bil VornDick and Robert Clyne of Clyne Media Inc. were among the many visitors to Recording Connection’s Hole 8. Hijinks and camaraderie were in no short supply.

“A good portion of Nashville’s terrific audio community turned out to support this great event,” stated Consultant Brian Kraft, “and I am really glad Recording Connection was able to contribute and participate.”
