Mariah Carey records at Recording Connection mentor Chung King Studios!

Chung King Studios NYC manager and Recording Connection mentor Steve Kennedy had quite the surprise event this month. R&B legend Mariah Carey showed up at the famed studio for an impromptu recording session with her own personal engineer and the Chung King Studios staff.

While at the Chung King, the five-time-Grammy-award-winner also did a photo shoot with famous portrait and fashion photographer Terry Richardson.

But that’s not all! Steve Kennedy is also excited to be working with rapper and pop artist Erica Kane, who’s currently doing a track with Brian McKnight.
