You don’t have to go into extreme debt to go to Music Production and Audio Engineering School
We can train you in a real recording studio for far less. Play it smart–get on the inside track, and get connected as you get educated. Our audio recording school is a highly effective and affordable way to start your audio engineering career.
You’ll also help set your curriculum. If you’re already proficient in Ableton Live or Pro Tools, there’s really no need to take it from the top, right? Knowing that information at the start will help your mentor modify the syllabus so that it’s suited to your needs. Just try doing that at a traditional four-year university! Recording Connection also costs a fraction of what those “name” schools charge.
Speaking of “years,” Recording Connection programs last either six or nine months. In less than a year, you could already be making money after completing one of our programs. Of course, we can’t guarantee you’ll have a job waiting for you after you’ve finished your course. However, all program graduates get one year of career counseling to help you on your way.
CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME
10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future
Serving the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Recording Connection programs are ideal if you’re living in Minnetonka or near the University, from Shingle Creek to Morris Park, and Bryn-Mahr to Longfellow. With other locations throughout Minnesota, Recording Connection offers plenty of access for you to follow your audio engineering interests.
But we understand “life” happens. Even when there isn’t a worldwide pandemic, family commitments and other obstacles can make a daily commute almost impossible. Recording Connection has been offering remote learning options for students who can’t make it into the studio for whatever reason – including self quarantines and social distancing.
This also means you have the ability to work with music producers throughout the United States. We have more than 250 mentors working with us, meaning you could be living in Minneapolis but working with someone in L.A., New York, or Miami. We want to make your musical journey as accessible as possible.
