You don’t have to go into extreme debt to go to Music Production and Audio Engineering School
We can train you in a real recording studio for far less. Play it smart–get on the inside track, and get connected as you get educated. Our audio recording school is a highly effective and affordable way to start your audio engineering career.
Instead of working with other students, you’ll be working with clients. Smaller local bands, regional acts, or even touring stars known throughout the world work with Recording Connection mentors. Everyone you come into contact with is making a living in the industry. You’ll be learning firsthand what working in music looks like.
This is real-life stuff we’re talking about. But we also understand you have a real-life outside of the studio, too. Your Academic Facilitator works with you to set up a schedule that fits with what you have going on. Universities set your schedule. The Recording Connection music production school in Montreal leaves it up to you.
But you’re still required to work. Showing up late to the classroom may get disapproving looks from your teacher. Showing up late for a session with a client will cost you a job in the real world. Showing up on time, doing the work, and acting responsibly is the only way to take full advantage of our programs.
CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME
10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future
With so many opportunities to learn from and work with the best in Montreal, there’s really no reason to leave for supposedly green pastures. Why move hundreds or even thousands of miles away when Recording Connection offers a world-class education across town?
But even a 15-minute car ride on a consistent basis can be a hardship for some. Or maybe you’d like to learn from a music producer that you really admire. Or maybe a worldwide pandemic has made social distancing and self quarantines a part of day-to-day life.
We’ve been offering remote learning for decades to give access to as many people as possible. As the events of 2020 and beyond have shown us, being able to leave your home for any reason isn’t always possible. But audio engineers and music producers need to be agile, willing to work at any time, often with little notice.
With remote learning, you’ll have the ability to train in a one-on-one manner with your mentor. If you have questions, all you have to do is ask. Want to get their advice on your latest track? Want to get a pro’s advice and have conversations, not lectures? All you need is a fast enough computer, strong internet or wifi, and a willingness to work as hard as you can when in the (virtual) studio.
