Ogden, Utah is a city of around 83,000 (with a surrounding metro of around half a million) located about 40 miles north of Salt Lake City. Although not a place people normally associate with the music business, Ogden has an active music scene, with bands and artists regularly playing gigs around town. While local and smaller touring acts frequent local venues such as Brewski’s, larger touring acts play in places like the Ogden Amphitheater downtown.

Ogden’s music scene also shares musical activity with the larger Wasatch Front area (a line of cities situated against the Wasatch Mountains, including Salt Lake City and Provo), and bands and artists regularly play shows up and down the entire stretch. Musically speaking, Ogden is perhaps mostly associated with the Osmond family, as a number of the musical siblings were born here.
