Audio and Music Production School in Sacramento, California

Not like any other school, this is Audio Education Updated, Reimagined, and Revitalized. Are You Ready to Take Your Place?

We took that old stale classroom concept, rebuilt and upgraded it by putting your classroom in a professional recording studio. Then we emptied out all the other students and left only YOU and YOUR TEACHER (yay for one-on-one learning!) who happens to be a pro music producer (with killer credits) to train you privately (at your pace, full time, part time, nights or weekends available).

Your Sacramento, California MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE

We hit different and here is why:

Chances are, there was something you didn’t like about being in the classroom. In high school, there may have been too many kids or they didn’t have classes you were really interested in. When looking at four-year universities, you needed to have prerequisites to take the classes you wanted, and 8 a.m. chemistry classes aren’t for everyone.

The Sacramento Recording Connection programs are designed to give you the classes you want, and the times you want, with the one-on-one mentoring you need to truly understand the business of making music. No more jockeying for attention from the instructor, running to the admissions office to get the only class you want, and no more putting the rest of your life on hold.

The Recording Connection offers students that want to learn AUDIO ENGINEERING AND MUSIC PRODUCTION IN SACRAMENTO the opportunity to be fully immersed in the music-making process. You’ll be placed alongside a PRO MUSIC PRODUCER that will give you the basics, let you work on the most advanced gear, and show you how to truly communicate with your clients.

Our mentors will build a curriculum around what you want to learn no matter what your background is. But you won’t be completely off the hook: learning about music theory, the physics of sound, and the biology of listening are all building blocks to making phat beats and killer loops.

Where we really separate ourselves from four-year universities and other institutes of higher learning is the amount of time and money it takes to complete our audio engineering and music production program. Our programs last from six to nine months and cost a fraction of those “name” schools. Let’s face it. In the music industry, who you know (and who knows you) matters almost as much as what you know. That’s why we feel working with a SACRAMENTO MUSIC PRODUCER in real-life situations is so much more beneficial than the piece of paper you get after four years at a college.

CLOSE TO HOME OR IN YOUR HOME

10 Miles, 10 Blocks, or 10 Seconds away from your future

The SACRAMENTO RECORDING CONNECTION is in place so you don’t have to move to San Francisco or Los Angeles or anywhere else to learn how to become a music producer. And although we aren’t the only SACRAMENTO AUDIO ENGINEERING SCHOOL to choose from, we think we offer something unique.

Being placed alongside a professional audio engineer or music producer in their Sacramento recording studio is as close to the action as a student can get. However, as the worldwide pandemic showed us, it isn’t always possible to be that close to the action. Fortunately, we’ve been perfecting remote learning for decades.

While other Sacramento audio engineering schools are scrambling to create new curriculums and systems to meet those needs, our infrastructure is already in place. That’s because we know what “real life” means. If you don’t have a car, public transportation isn’t available, or state guidelines keep you from getting to us, we come to you.

All you need is a computer fast enough to handle a digital audio workstation (DAW) and a reliable internet connection. Because the world still needs music—even during a pandemic.

WHAT WE OFFER

Work with the Stars or Amplify Your Sound

There’s a lot to like about the Recording Connection programs. You can set your own schedule, learn what you want to learn along with the foundations everyone needs to know, and have exclusive access to a music professional. You can enroll at any time at a fraction of the cost of those four-year universities. And in as little as nine months, you could find yourself with a job and building a career you love in the music industry.

Seem too good to be true? Our most successful students have been hired by the very studios they externed at, found work at other studios, and even opened up their own studios. They were able to do this because of the opportunities our programs offer and most universities can’t match.

Consider your time with Recording Connection as a six to nine-month job interview. Do you have the drive and determination to learn the technical side of music production? Do you have the personality and sense of responsibility it takes to give your clients what they want and deliver what you promise? Are you willing to work towards a career in the industry, or is this just a hobby?

Because that’s how you make a name for yourself in the music production industry. If you make it so your mentor needs YOU while working with a client, that client just may need YOU to go on the road with them. That’s why we believe we give you opportunities as no other SACRAMENTO AUDIO ENGINEERING SCHOOL can.

Building a portfolio. Creating a brand. Work with artists across all genres. Impress the people you come into contact with. Make the most of these opportunities. A university may have name recognition, but after four years, all they offer is a degree. With us, you could already have three years of experience in audio production or as a live sound engineer. What makes more sense?

SACRAMENTO, CA, MENTOR INFORMATION

Although L.A.—the entertainment capital of the world—is a far cry from River City, Recording Connection mentors in Sacramento have more than enough cache. They’ve worked with rock mainstays Rod Stewart, Jefferson Starship, and Jeff Beck as well as country mainstays Dolly Parton, Allen Jackson, and Karl Urban and the folk-rock supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

Our Sacramento mentors have also worked in other genres, such as the alternative metal band The Deftones, indie rockers The Airborne Toxic Event, and award-winning rockers Bush. But if you still need some South Beach flavor, one of our mentors used to be the head engineer at one of Los Angeles’ oldest recording studios.

And, really, it doesn’t matter where you are if you have the right gear, the right instructor, and the drive to learn. When you enroll in one of the Sacramento Recording Connection programs, you’ll be working with industry-leading equipment like: Apogee Rosetta 800 analog and digital converters, Pro Tools digital audio workstations with Digidesign 192 i/o digital recorders, Power Mac G5 towers, and Trident Ventura 85 Recording Consoles, and more.
