Q. Can I work while enrolled in the Ableton for Artists and Creators Program?
We pride ourselves on recognizing and appreciating the diversity of our student body. That’s why our Academic Facilitators will work with you and your mentor to create a customized program that considers your lifestyle and other commitments. However, the Ableton for Music Creators and Artists Program does require a commitment on your part to spend time in the studio with at least two in-studio courses each week at the start.
Q. Is the Ableton for Music Creators and Artists Program expensive?
The Recording Connection Ableton for Music Creators and Artists program is proud to offer an alternative cost-effective music education. When compared to four-year universities, colleges, or trade schools. Our program runs around $15,000, much less than the $50,000 (or more) you would spend at some “brand” schools.
Q. Do you offer internships or job placement help after completing the Ableton for Music Creators and Artists Program?
That’s the best thing about what we offer: the Recording Connection Ableton for Music Creators and Artists Program is like a nine-month internship! We call it an externship, where you’ll learn about the industry from the inside of a professional recording studio. Every day is a chance to impress potential employers while you build up foundational skills. And after completing the program, we offer up to one year of job placement assistance.
Q. What is the Ableton for Music Creators and Artists curriculum?
The Ableton Artist Program places you inside a real-world recording studio where you’ll learn to set up your racks, create templates, how to integrate your midi controllers, which view makes the most sense for your workflow, and more. We’ll also show you the basics of the software and how your audio interface and other gear work together with Ableton. We’ll also work on establishing your “brand” and other tricks of the trade to get you hired.
Q. Where are you located?
With more than 300 locations around the country, finding a mentor close by won’t be an issue. Because we place you in a recording studio, not a classroom, you are able to learn directly with mentors where they work.
