Externship Locations

Stay Close to Home. Why leave your family and friends if you don’t have to, or, take a walk on the wild side and move to your favorite city or town?

But you won’t have to move across the country to do it. We want to make our audio engineering and music production programs as accessible as possible. Why should you have to travel hundreds, or even thousands, of miles to sit in a classroom? With more than 250 locations throughout the US and Canada, you’re never too far from a Recording Connection mentor and their studio. And even if you are, we still have you covered.

While so many other institutions scrambled during the pandemic, Recording Connection has been offering remote learning for decades. We understand you have a life and commitments that may keep you from being mobile. Our “virtual” studios were made specifically for you.

ABOUT REMOTE LEARNING

Advantages of Our Music Production and Audio Engineering School - Remote or In Person

Something that’s often overlooked in determining the cost of education is relocation, rooming, and board charges. Recording Connection makes it possible to eliminate those costs by providing you with a “working classroom” in a recording studio located within commuting distance from where you live. You can learn remotely or in person, your choice.

In addition, through our “flex scheduling,” it’s often possible to fit your working classroom time around your current job schedule. Expenses for relocation, room, and board are no longer a factor if you can keep earning money from your current job while you learn.

Our teachers are actual working professionals, many award winning in the field of audio and music production, these are your mentors who are working every day in the real world of music production and making money in the music business. We believe mentors make great teachers of real-world practices, techniques, and vital people skills.
