Since starting his apprenticeship with Uptone Pictures in Raleigh, NC, Grant Gilbert has got work running cameras and assisting on the television lifestyle show “Loving Life.” Grants ready to move forward now and is taking the next logical step in his career–coming to LA and pitching his own TV series called “Small Town Blues” a coming of age story set in a small town where Jake and those around him make certain choices and become embroiled in various complications as they try to beat their small town blues.

Grant’s inspiration is drawn from the town he grew up in–Clayton, NC (population 16,116) and it isn’t the first time! Back in high school, Grant and a few friends produced a parody of “Dawson’s Creek” and dubbed it “Clayton’s Creek.” Catch a couple episodes right now.

Congrats and best of luck Grant!
