HARDCORE

Learn Hardcore Electronic Music Producing with the Recording Connection:

Hardcore electronic dance music was first heard in the raves of the Netherlands club scene in the 1990s, drawing much of its influence from the dark lens of the industrial music of the 70s and 80s. Hardcore electronic music is created using sequencers, home computers, and tracker software, and is often identified among other subgenres by its hard bass and/or drum beats, usually at a much higher BPM than its counterparts (typically between 160-200 BPM). Electronic acts frequently associated with electronic hardcore include Mindless Self Indulgence, Crystal Castles, Atari Teenage Riot and The Prodigy.

Would you like to become an electronic hardcore music producer, or experiment with subgenres such as breakbeat hardcore, speedcore, Frenchcore, carkcore, or digital hardcore?  Through our specialized electronic music production externship program, the Recording Connection will train you in Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cubase and Reason under the personal guidance of a hardcore music producer.
